The mini prism on Trimble ring are in a small cluster surrounding an aluminum shaft which is placed top rmt. This is the RMT-604 and requires its own power cable from radio. This does not affect the function of prism. It is ideal for measuring distances of up to 500m Ats.
The lower cover on tracker is a little loose. I have used it several years this way. The prism constant: is 2mm.
