It is in really good working condition. I wish for this really neat piece to go to someone that will take good care of it instead of sitting unseen in our garage like it has been for the last 20 years.

I would be happy to send more photos if you are interested. So this could of come from there. The bottom of the rod has a little bit of staining on the wood but it isn't bad. It has been kept in the blue fabric sleeve which has some holes in it at the bottom.

This belonged to my husbands father who worked in construction in the 50's, 60's and 70's and he worked in the plasters union at Disneyland in the 80's. See the photos the numbers are very clear and show very little wear. As you extend the rod the flexible tape rolls out. I have looked around and not seen one like this before.
