It may also be a good idea to test the batteries in a non-critical situation to ensure they work well for your camera. Ultimately, the decision to purchase third-party batteries or original Nikon batteries depends on your budget, needs, and level of comfort with using non-original equipment.
For sale are 2 beautiful looking guns however they both have operational issues. Appearance wise they look almost flawless, but don't let their looks fool you when your buying.
I've stated the things that I know about them as honestly as I can, keep in mind I am not a Nikon technician, maybe you know something I don't. I'm selling both of these guns for parts of repair because they do not operate the way they should.
The 450 will turn angles, and shoot distances all day long, but will not speak to the data collector. So make sure to look at all of the pictures, i'm throwing in a brand new battery charger just because I have three, and one of the batteries are new, and the other I can't get to take a charge. The 420 seems to turn angles, but when you try to shoot a distance, it looks like it's trying, but after 15 seconds or so it shows low or weak signal.
